GlimWorld is a social game creation and learning platform where people can play games solo, create their own experiences, customize avatars, discover content, and learn in a browser. Multiplayer and other real-time services are temporarily unavailable while they are being restored. The game maker and coding playground are free to use.

Is GlimWorld free to use?
Yes. GlimWorld is free to use. Build browser games, customize your Glim avatar, take interactive coding lessons, and explore 3D worlds solo. Multiplayer services are temporarily unavailable. Optional sign-in unlocks publishing and account features.
Do I need to know how to code to make a game on GlimWorld?
No. GlimWorld offers three ways to create: a visual Block coding editor (drag-and-drop), a Draw & Paint canvas, and a frame-by-frame Animate studio. The Code Editor is also available for learners ready to write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
What can I do in the GlimWorld 3D Playground?
The 3D Playground is a solo world builder where you control a Glim avatar, place objects, write a World Script using the WORLD API, and publish a scene to Discovery. Multiplayer and real-time collaboration are temporarily unavailable.
Is GlimWorld safe for kids?
GlimWorld is built for all ages — anyone can create anything in a safe, moderated environment. It includes parental controls, a code sandbox that blocks dangerous patterns before scripts run, community guidelines, and moderation tools. Parents can review and restrict account features from the Parental Controls panel.

How do I share a game I made on GlimWorld?
Open the Build studio, finish your project, then click Publish. Your game appears in the Discovery library and you can copy a share link or invite code to send to friends. You can also export a share code that loads your game on any device.
What are Glim Coins and how do I earn them?
Glim Coins are GlimWorld's virtual currency. You earn them when other players like your published games, when you complete the Weekly Challenge, or by participating in Game Jams. Spend them in the Avatar Shop on hats, wings, accessories and body colors.
Can I learn real coding on GlimWorld?
Yes. The Education hub features interactive lessons with Teacher Glim covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and game design. The Code Editor uses the same languages professional developers use, so skills transfer directly to other coding platforms.
Does GlimWorld work on phones and tablets?
Yes. GlimWorld runs in any modern mobile or desktop browser. The 3D Playground includes on-screen touch controls for movement and jumping, and the Draw and Animate studios support touch drawing.
